Vibration Shutter on Acceleration

I have a new 2009 F150 and I notice a shutter when accelerting from a stop. When I hook up to my boat it is a little worse and when I hooked up to my car I thought that something was going to fly from under the truck. I had it to the dealer and they can't find anything wrong. Has anyone else had this problem?

mine does it to a little. but only at full throttle from a stop and its only in 1st gear. my didnt do it until after i broke the driveshaft and had a new one installed. i thinkin it could be a little out of balance. but like i said, it only does it from a full throttle take off and only in first gear.

i just had mine at the dealer for the same thing plus the tranny re flash. my guy said it had to do with the pinion angle on slow acceleration. you may also notice it when you come to a stop and the truck shutters. he said they had this issue with older models and ford came out with a wedge shaped shim for were the spring perches bolt to the rear to solve it.don't know if he was feeding me a line or the truth. but in time i will find out i guess.

The Ground Force 2" lowering kit (shackles) I am considering for the rear has wedges included in the kit.
I have not noticed mine shuddering while driving or pulling my cargo trailer. However I have not seen a need put the pedal to the metal.
When you stomp down it the rear axle will twist because of torque and traction causing the drive shaft and rear end to mis-align. Those are some long leaves on the rear which is why your 150 rides so nice. JMO

I have 2004 that had the shim kit installed seemed to help not as noticeable.Dealer informed me of it being the pinion angle off, Shim kit is a tbs fix from Ford.

OK here is has been done to the truck this past week. After hooking up the boat and trailer they agreed that there was a problem. They messed around shimming the pinion angle with different shim angles and settled on a 1 degree shim. I would say that it is 30% better when pulling a trailer but still very noticeable when pulling my enclosed toy hualer. I went to the dealership and talked to my salesman and he let me take a new unit that had 4 spring leaves (mine has 3) in the back. I pulled the trailer empty and loaded and no vibrations. I was told that the only way to get the 4 leaves is either with the max towing package or with 20" wheels. I have no idea why you would get 4 leaves with 20" wheels and not with HD towing pacakge.

I just bought my '09 F-150 Platinum in June and I'm feeling this studdering or missing out feeling around 1500 - 1600 RPM's while accelerating slightly from this speed range. I pulled my boat today and felt the missing out feeling or studdering more drastic between 1500 - 2000 RPM. Is this the same thing going on that you are describing here? This is really anoying and I was afraid if I took it in for service they wouldn't be able to duplicate the issue or find anything on the computer.

No mine just does it when starting out. The weight I hual or pull the worse it gets. The mechanic said that he could duplicate the problem so they put a transmission core in the box and they felt it then. All the work that has been done with shims and everything still there. This truck is supposed to pull up to 11,000 pounds it can't even pull my 2000# boat without shaking you right out of the truck. I am pulling the same stuff as I did with my 2007 F150 and didn't have these problems.
