Where can I find an OEM unit. Don't wanna cut the factory lines up. It is an '87 diesel f-350 and my big box has the universal and carquest book ain't got it...
Ford.com was no help...

Autozone offers a universal one but wire splicing is required. You probably won't get any help from ford.com. Your best bet is to either call or visit the parts department at your local ford dealership. That is the only place you will locate an OEM replacement.
I just went through this same issue. The Ford part is $175.10 from the dealer which is the only place to get the OEM part. I almost got the one from Auto Zone that would have been in the $50 to $60 dollar range plus any necessary wiring stuff.
I chose to go with the factory FTSV since I hate wiring, end of story.
Mine is working great so far.
Here is the link to my post.....or you could have searched......its was only a few posts down?
