Now that I've worn in my Drivers seat....is there a way to only get the foam to restore the 'new seat' feel? My sciatic never finally stop flaring so I figured I would do whatever I could to give my lower back support... any suggestions? TIA
You can purchase the seat pad from the dealer. They aren't that expensive and you can install it yourself with some hand tools. The cover just hooks in place.
Yeah I do have manual lumbar support/sport cloth....
Every time I try to get the seats out of a wrecked truck...they always charge me more than originally said. One scrap yard said I had to pay $10/hour spent plus .30 for every pound....It took me 30 minutes and the seats weighed 80 pounds...equates to $30 more less....he wanted $200 because they were leather...I just paid another 15 and installed them back in using a torque wrench and thread locker stage 3 to put them back on.....
Too bad too because the truck I pulled them from had 30 miles on it...DWI guy wrapped the bed around a tree...
