Yea 10-4 on that
I was just wondering I have herd it both ways on this thread originally Old
Skool 79 called it PARASITIC which makes sense to me as you can see by
my reply to his original post, but then Bullitt referred to it as
PARASTATIC... something I have never heard before but I like the way it
sounds and was wondering what that was and which is correct.

I didn't realize I was typing the wrong term, but then again in my 2004 Nissan Maxima Factory Manual is does say "Parastatic" General Section Page GI-25.
Yea Nissan... I dont know, but I haven't known a Bullitt to be wrong so I think I will go with Parastatic if for no other reason than it will make people talk.
OK, so back on topic, old skewl what have you found out? I do agree that you should use a test light rather than a meter for troubleshooting this type of problem.
