I have an '06 F-250 4x4 and i have some really annoying "vibrating" sensations coming from the front end. I only can feel it when i come to a complete stop and begin to accelerate and turn a corner. I can feel it throughout the whole truck and in the steering wheel. It feels like when you run over those "rumble strips"(?) on the side of interstates real slow..... It feels like something is getting in a bind as you are turning the wheel.
I dont know if it is the same problem or not, but also when completely stopped then accelerating, at about 10-15mph, there is a little bit of a shimmy in the driveline like something is out of balance.
Try ajusting your steering gear box, (its crap) I am currently experiencing a simular problem. I am sure there is something on this site that will show you how to adjust the gear lash, hope this helps
I'm guessing you're not under the 3year/36k bumper to bumper?
It's kind of hard to take a stab in the dark on it. Could be a lot of things. I was experiencing a vibration in the wheel and I rebuilt the whole front end and it fixed it.

lol I bet that cost a pretty penny! I went mudding not too long before it started making these feelings. It started off just going down a muddy farm road till i slid into a ditch and had to get out..... When i finally got out of it, the only thing it did was it knocked my steering wheel off.
I went and got an alignment a couple of days laters to straighten it back up and they told me everything else looked good.... Shortly after, i started noticing the vibrations. I am going to take it back to them to check it over again, but i just wanted to see if you guys had some opinions.
Engine warranty is 5 yr 100k. The powertrain is warranted only under the 3 yr / 36k unless your 2006 was bought after July 14, 2006. Then it has a 5 yr / 60k powertrain warranty along with the 5 yr / 100k engine warranty.
