Has anyone used one of these bed tents in their 2009? Since the be seems higher, was just curious as to the fit of it, since they make it for a generic 6.5' bed.
I bought the Sportz brand tent for SUVs about four years ago. Although I've only used it once, the quality and fit were very good. I cannot speak for durability as I've not used it since. Prices have about doubled from what I paid in 04.

I bought one for my 98 6.5' and used it 4 times. Highly suggest an air-mattress or bedrug...the hard plastic liner I had was PITA literally even with another sleeping bag laid down as a pad. The tent itself is pretty rugged...I would not drive down the freeway with it on the truck obviously. For camping on rough/wet ground it beats soggy tent floor or rocks/roots in your back. Also if you have sliding rear glass you can run accessory power for lights/fans thru the opening they have towards the cab.
I have the CampRight tent for my 09 Screw 5.5'. I have set it up once, and then camped in it once. It was pretty good. One problem I had was pulling it down between the cab and the bed the bed has a lip running down the side and it had to really stretch to fit around it at all. I am still concerned having the plastic clips and canvas straps running down the side of my truck, afraid it is going to scratch the crap out of it, I wrapped most of em in towels just to make sure.
I also picked up the Truck Bedzzz air mattress and it was very nice. It held the air very well and fit perfectly. Only thing is I have the fold away bed extender and it is designed to fit where they go, just make sure the mattress is down where it needs to be and it will just push back on the extender and hold everything in there nice and tight.
