UPDATE: Had my upper alternator replaced under warrantee, its a 110 amp unit, However old boy told me that both alternators were inop. Gee, this happened 9 months ago and the Stealership told me that the lower unit didn't have anything to do with the charging system, and that it was working fine (then why wasn't my batts recharging?) I didn't believe him but didn't know enough to argue. Now I know. Soo for the last 9 months I've been overtasking my operative alternator, no wonder it only lasted 9 months. Its on me to replace the lower one and I've read that DB electrics is having some issues with their altenators. Since the upper alternator is 110, I must replace the lower one with 110amp as well, correct?
Anyway, I hate someone touching my truck, but since it was under warrantee I was kinda stuck.

Actually they don't both have to be 110 Amps. But,,, I would stay with 110 to avoid any issues. If you use smaller and had a problem with the top alt under warranty they might not help you on it again.
