pic of the tub. forgot, some stuff is there for the power window, but idk if it works and for sure i don't have the cover panel
from the day i went and got it running in the guys driveway
front shot in my driveway
ripping out the trashed carpet
how the wiring was/kind of still is. i put the dash back in but only temporarily
i thought i had more but i guess not. if you want i'll get better ones or maybe a video tomorrow when the suns up.
p.s. its a freewheeler package which isn't crazy rare, but it was a limited edition. and the drivers captains chair is kind of tore the hell up. put a towel on it and a seat cover, good as new
just test drove my new truck i think. unless something else way better and cheaper comes along. he did mention a local highboy crewcab 4x4 for sale but said it was kind of shot. might go take a look out of curiosity though.
the body on this 89 is a little rougher than i thought it was but its at or better than what my 94 was. 460 feels strong but it does have 150,xxx on it, zf shifted smooth and firm, even had a nifty chainlink shifter manual windows and locks which is a plus, as well as the floor tapper for high beams. i love those. never been in a 87-91 so the interior was a bit odd to me, but i liked the lay out. so chances are i will be banging gears again in about a month, maybe sooner.

i went with $1500 obo so i had wiggle room and just in case someone really wants a bronco. there aren't a lot of them around here nowadays, so 1500 is a possibility in that shape. i don't expect it, but it'd be nice. like i said, if i could get the 800 back that i have in it i'd be happy. shouldn't have bought it, it was an impulse buy which is never a good thing. as much as i hate efi because i don't understand it, it's nice for a trailrig, so i started looking at late model **** and am kind of set on the f250 of my buddies. besides, i like trucks more and need bed space more than people hauling room. it'll be a while till my kids are big enough for camping trips anyways, and that was the main motivation for buying the bronco.
If you buy a pickup now, do yourself a favor and at least get a extended cab! Regular cabs suck plain and simple. Hell I've been tossing around a crew extended cab idea for my 94.
can't find any in my price range that fit my criteria and aren't completely worthless. this will just be my toy/driver. i don't want an ext cab because then i will just collect **** in the back seat. i'd love a crew cab, but they are pricey when i do find 4x4's or they are all 2x duallys.
my buddy did mention a crewcab highboy for sale close to me, said it was under $1500 but it was thrashed. might go check it out, but that is kind of overkill for me and i don't want cheeto to drool all over his keyboard and electrocute himself
