Ya sure have. But always had shocks on one end or the other.

i actually liked the ride better offroad in my 85 without shocks on it, screw you guys, i was broke and couldn't afford them for a few weeks after i bent a couple.

but without them the ride on road was crazy with that trucks loose suspension with tons of flex

No I did not. The headers are in the way.

 

Shocks on the rear are most important imo. *** end bounces 6-8 ft high when u jump it without them back there. :|
