duraspark air gap
what is the correct air gap between the stator and armature. The system I am working on is rubbing as it goes by. It is running but I was thinking there should be a air gap is this correct?

It's worn out, and should be replaced.
Replace both the magnetic pickup, and the wheel. (Looks like a gear with either 6 or 8 teeth)
You can also replace the distributor, which might not be a bad idea. The centrifugal advance springs wear out as well.
