These new engines have there spark plugs changed when they go bad... If you take it in to a dealer, the computer tells them which ones... If your truck isnt missing, then they are probably fine. Triple platnums clean themselves. Not like the old stuff

Not really accurate if you ask me.....as they wear down they perform worse and give you worse fuel economy and performance...

I cannot argue that, infact I would agree... However it is Ford and Chevy and mopar techs that will say it. I know one thing. For the price of a triple platnum plug, they better do something
I don't know of any reputable techs that would say that.....ford recommends they be changed every 100K miles regardless...its a maintenance item....and the computer will tell you if your getting a miss on a cylinder...but that's far from saying its the plug....it could be a number of things if its missing.....so the computer won't say....spark plug on cylinder 7
