I live in a small British Columbia town. I had my truck in getting a diagnostic done a while back. They at first seemed to think it was a head gasket problem. I said no it wasn't, it ended up being some injectors.
The owner told me the last gasket job he did was 10 grand.
10K wont cover new motor lol, but it is way to much for HGs. When the dealer put my motor in under warrenty, the bill was around 15K for the job. Fortunatly it only cost me 120.lol
Hi Zip
I'm in Edmonton Alberta and I had the same quote. It almost cheaper to drive to the states and have it done.

He also quoted me a price of $2,500 to replace a couple injectors. I bought 8 newer used ones and put them in myself. Total cost was probably around $600.00, beer included.

You can buy a set of injectors(modified ones at that) and beat that price for just two injectors(I'm assuming stock, not modified).

$10k should buy the engine, may not cover the install but there is no reason it should not cover the cost of the engine, if it doesn't it is a rip off. You can buy crate race engines for less and they are built in lower volume.
