Does anyone have a part number to the whole fuel pickup assembly or just the fuel sending unit? I'm looking to get a whole new plastic unit that the float rotates on as it seems very loose.

2001 F350 Super Duty: There are SEVEN different fuel sending units.
It depends on:
Midship or aft axle fuel tank / What the exact wheelbase is / Before/from the production date of 3/26/2001.
You can type the info here, I can give you the part number, MSRP and Ed's discount price, or...
Send your VIN and your question to Ed @ y2kfordparts.com, he can give you the info.
They are very sensitive units and not cheap! Since the fuel is the lubricant for the system, I try to keep at least 1/4 tank to make sure most if it is submerged and lubed up!
Wow was not expecting that price. Does the "fuel sending unit" come with the whole fuel pickup?? I'm only in need of the fuel sending unit. Maybe someone has one laying around I could buy?????
Both fit: 2000 and later: F250/550 Super Duty. That's all the catalog sez, it makes no reference if the aft axle tank is for a Cab & Chassis...or not.
I think that is for the cab & chassis. All the 250/350 cab & bed trucks have the mid-ship tank. Hmmmm...I wonder if I could fit one if I take out my spare tire...

I believe you are correct, however the parts catalog makes no reference to whether these Super Duty's have a pickup bed or it's a Cab & Chassis.
