1996 and 1997 Fuel Module question

Did something change for the wiring of these pumps after 1995? My project truck needs new pumps and sending units and in 1996 the part number changed.

Was it the change to obd2?

Spoiler: The answer is no, nothing to do with OBD-II

Ok, even my 94 F350 has the later pigtail. When I replace those modules they didn't have the earlier style plug. Every module from 94 and after Ibam seeing has the top mounted pigtail.

I've found front and rear NOS pumps with a F4 part number, not F6, but they have the pigtail and plug I need. Sweet.
