That is a great old truck. When I was a kid in the early 60s, we got to ride in one just like it.

If you bought groceries at the Pine Market in Holtville, the stock clerk would haul them and you home as a free service!

Theirs was white over green and the antennae had been replaced with a stretched-out coa thanger. Jag

What a great memory Jag! You definitely can't get that kind of service today.

The orginal color of my Ranchero was white over green as well. I can see where someone filled in the holes for the stainless trim going down the side.

Love that '57. My first car back in the early 60's was a 4 door 57 Fairlane with the 312 tbird special engine.

That's a great find. I remember when I was a kid back around 1959 my great uncle had a Black 57 just like yours. It use to sit in his drive when we went to visit. He lived in Lamont Ca. Just outside of Bakersfield, Ca. His son still has it. RUSTY
