there is another link in my first post that lists it as ford too,who knows.
the only thing i know is that i want one now.

Thats what i have been trying to figure out. i have never seen that rocket on anything before. i have asked a few old guys and they have never seen the exact one either. i was hoping i would come here to the experts.

That is getting close but its still not whats on my old f1. mine is flatter and wider.

Im not sure on that one either. it certainly looks stock but i really dont know. i am the third owner of this truck and the first 2 have passed on. so i cant really ask them.

Maybe a cheap JC Whitney knock off??? That was common back in the day.

It is likely an aftermarket item...hundreds of these things were sold in all shapes and sizes by JC Whitney and others. The one shown on the woody above is not stock either, but still cool. Space related stuff was real popular from mid fifties through the sixties.

Not any pickups that I know of had factory installed hood ornaments till the '70's...

Found on Hood Ornaments and Fender Lights on pg 7 of orphans. Found a few other images that match, but none of the sites lists the manufacturer. Good luck on finding more information.

Does anyone know what settings I need to change so that my images will appear? I have followed the steps in the "newbie" section, and still no luck.
