engine dies at idle
I had a similar thing happening with my Explorer that I just traded in for my Expedition.
It was a straight drive and would die when I went to start from a stand still. Then it wouldn't crank unless I pounded on the accelerator like an old carburator motor...
Turned out that my fuel pressure was over twice what it should have been...bad Fuel pressure regulator
