Missing Jack, etc..

Anyone else have this problem in the SuperCrew? Had mine since January (FX-4) and never really paid attention and was looking at my buddies new '09 XLT and we started looking for the jack in his and it was missing as well!! He even bought his in a different state from a different dealer!!!!

it's under the box insert in the rear under the double seat.

Yeah, my bad. I probably saw it when I first got the truck and forgot all about it since that tray with the spout looks integrated into the floor board.

I always read the manuals, Shorebird, but they aren't always so clear in their rush to print.

BTW, Shorebird, this little gem is right out of Ford's Manual. Note what they are saying at bullets 2, 3, and 4. I don't think that's correct so the manual isn't always the bible.

The ELD is affected by the following conditions:
• The 4WD control must be in either 4H (4X4 High) or 4L (4X4 Low)
mode.
• The ELD will not engage if the vehicle speed is above 20 mph
(30 km/h) in 4X4 High or 56 mph (90 km/h) in 4X4 Low.
• In 4H (4X4 High), the ELD will disengage at speeds above 25 mph
(40 km/h) and will automatically reengage at speeds below 20 mph
(30 km/h).
• In 4L (4X4 Low), the ELD will disengage at speeds above 62 mph
(100 km/h) and will automatically reengage at speeds below 56 mph
(90 km/h).
The ELD is designed for off-road use only.
