Highliner Headliner Question?

Does it cover the light? If so what provisions are made? And how does the gauge pod effect the visor?

I see them and I want one but I just had a few questions.

Thanks Guys.

If you read in the the small print in the LMC magazine they say it, "uses existing dome light". My guess is it goes around the dome light. And what do you mean by gauge pod, I didn't think it came with a gauge pod.

From the picture on this site, it seems that "utilizes factory dome light" simply means that the dome light is not covered. It is a direct replacement for the stock headliner board.

I don't know what you mean by gauge pod either.

There is a portion of the headliner above the left side visor which will allow for some items to be installed in the headliner, gauges, switches, etc. It does not really affect the sun visor other then it will not push up as far as the right one. It actually lays flat against the headliner. I've had one in my truck for more the 20 years now. Had to replace the speakers, old ones rotted out.
