PSI Max

I am replacing the P tires on my 06 150 with LTs. Can anyone tell me offhand what the wheels will be rated for as far as PSI? I know it is stamped inside the rim. I`m just curious to know before I make the switch next week. I tow a TT and the P`s just make the whole thing pretty squirmy in the wind. It is an XLT w/5.4 -17" 3:55. Thanks for any help!

Not sure what the max is, but I am running 50psi on my "E" rated tires pulling my 5th wheel.

Tire rack.com has alot of info on all tires, you may be able to find some great info there.

People out here in the oil fields run 50-80 pounds on 10 ply tires all the time. I haven't seen any wheel problems yet. You will of course sacrifice ride quality.

each tire is different.

there is no generic PSI that applies to each tire. Look at the tire sidewall that you purchase. that will be the Manufacturer Max PSI for that tire in particular
