Hi everyone, I have a 2002 f-250 with the 7.3 in it and the solenoid on my starter is broken right before im suposed to be going on a 1500 mile 2 week trip , the starter is a visteon 2C3T I live in australia and was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a new solenoid, or if it is common with another brand of starter or vehicle.
Sorry Scott. I don't know the answer to your question. Have you tried asking the local parts house? Years ago you could always buy the solenoid separately, but when I bought my replacement starter it did come with the solenoid bolted on.

No Jim. Ford quit doing that with the 02 model year. We just have an old fashioned solenoid mounted directly on top of the starter in the same fashion that has worked for Chevy for the last several decades.
