summit headers
has anyone tried these headers on there f250 5.4's? for $159 they are cheap but if you hit the compare button with the gibsons there really is not much different check them out

as with many of the other headers you will not feel the power gains in the set of your pants and also they both will be loader but on the compairson chart they match up with the gibsons and for the price of 159 thats is not alot to through away when compaired to 500+

if you get on the gibson site and compare the different years all part numbers are the same its just different colors, finishes, or egr fittings or not. so doing some research i have found that when i look up 2004 f250 5.4 i dont find many headers, or parts but if i look up 2000~2004 f250 5.4 the list seems to grow and i have also noticed that you find so many more parts for the 2000~2003 model years then any other just word for thought not saying everything will work but in these days you have to shop oround for the deals and i figured these headers seemed to be a deal for me. cause if you price factory manifolds you will pay more due to they dont come with mounting hardware or gaskets hope this info helps

You get what you pay for!
A guy I work with bought these for an F150 w/ 302. BEWARE! They rusted through just after the warranty expired. Probably foreign made.
Given what a knuckle busting, miserable job it is changing them, I would only go with ceramic coated or stainless.

Well I just got off the phone with summit tech service. He said they are for expeditions, f-150, f-250's 5.4l but they aren't for super duty trucks. I don't understand that. Cause f-250's are super dutys. I wonder if they are for f-250's on a f-150 body? Damnit I really want thses headers but I don't want to spend the money if they are not going to fit.

im kinda lost there is a heritage style f250 and a super duty? where would you find out info on both and what would be the difference?

just contacted pacesetter and the headers are different due to the egr line on the drivers side but tech told be he has a 2004 f250 5.4 and he just used a 3/4 pipe nipple to plug since his truck does not have an egr fitting on his manifolds can anyone give more detail before i try to make these headers work? thanks
