Dealer emblem

I found a really nice chrome pot metal Ford local dealer script emblem at a swap meet. I am considering putting it on my 53, but not sure where. Does anyone have pics of such emblems on original F100's? Joe

usually trucks had the bumper with dealer name stamped in it.....at least down southern states.

I believe there were a number of different locations for the dealer emblems, drivers side on the hood, some on the cowl. I'm sure someone else will chime in with some better answers for you, but here is a photo showing where mine would have been located, had the thing not disappeared at some point in the trucks life time.
