This place seems to have the best prices. Word of warning. I have the Blue Lighted logo and also have the blue washer lights and they are tied into my fog lights so as not to be on all the time. I have been informed that having any blue lights on the front of your truck is illegal in some state since only Police are supposed to have them. Any other word on this would be welcome.
Here in Texas they are illegal but it is seldom enforced. My son had the blue washer lights on his truck and a cop pulled him over and made him disconnect them, but I see lots of them and the underbody neon all the time. I think it realy depends on the kind of day the officer is having.
Well, here on base they are very strict, not allowed to have them turned on while driving or on the street...for those people who turn them on when stopped at alight,
You're right but I would like to add that I have BLACK front windows, no license plates( beats those pesky red light camera's-not that I ever run red lights, of course)big honkin' semi air horns(illegal to blow in L.A.), no mud flaps, three uncovered Hella 4000 h.i.d.'s(I never turn them on really slow people of course, that would be dangerous.)Fight the power.
Just a thought, why don't you set the emblem lights up on a seperate switch. I set up 4 small round rocker switchs on the dash and am setting up some of my extra lights on the smaller switches. That way I can have them on when needed but stay out of trouble with john law.. just a thought.
