Where do these wires go
I hate pulling wires through. What I did last time that worked good was to wrap all the wires in a electrical wire. Of cource you need a guide wire or piece of wire to pull it through. Once everything was wrapped good I coated the hole thing in bearing grease and then wiped off the excess. Seemed to work better than anything else I've tried.
I am using an aftermarket T/Sig switch.I cant pull the lever all the way down to get the left signal to come on.
the lever hits the column. Its like the switch is'nt centered in the opening.I did think about grinding the opening.I dont want to do that. What would you do about that

Since the factory turn signal switch has color coded wires which match the originals, the EZ way to replace the switch is to cut the old wires off about one inch above the plug.
Then tape the wires together, tie a long piece of string to the wires, pull the switch out of the column.
Now...tape the new wires together, tie the string to the wires, and pull the string from the bottom of the column, which will feed the wires thru wthout a hassle.
Now remove the old pieces of cut off wires from the plug, install the new wires. This will also solve the problem of which color coded wires goes where in the plug.
This is how Ford tech's have done it for decades.

btw: The brake light switch threads into the master cylinder or to a fitting next to it from 1948 thru 1966.
The NSS = Neutral Safety Switch is located at the bottom of the steering column 1961/77.
I am finding out about another repro item that sucks.another $25 and I would not have this problem.
The brake light switch is not on the M/C anymore since I upgraded all that stuff and put the brake light switch on the pedal. That is why I was asking about the hole down below by the Nuetral saftey switch.Again not thinking to say what I have been doing.
FYI. I know I should have left a snake in the steering cloumn but I like to make things harder and it gives me a reason to post on here.I have been rewiring the truck using an EZ wiring harness so that is the reason for me having a brain fart about were the wires went
