Hi, I have a 99' F250 w an 8" lift and 20 inch rims w about 5 inches of backspacing. I have been wanting to get wheel spacers for awhile now but have heard mixed opinions on them as far as being hard on the truck and increasing stress on parts. What do you guys think. I was planning on doing two inches
well i just put on some nice rims that i bought so i plan on keeping them, but i drive mostly just on road which is why i thought wheel spacers might not be too hard on the truck
i'm using the spacers your talking about. i dont have the hub centric ones(i think they are about $600) i think i paid $250 to my door. i have no problems with them. they bolt to your rotor with coned lugs and then you re-use your lugs on your rims. alot of guys swear by the hub centric ones. theres a member i think its MONSTA he has the link to the hub centric ones. i'll try to find the link to the ones i have. i got a screaming deal on 18" 2009 rims and tires thats why i have the spacers. also i only do on road driving and most of that is local.
