Fuel Pick-up Problem
Fuel Pick-up Problem
I have a 93 F-250 With about 150,000 miles on the clock, and whenever i get around 1/2 tank of fuel,"Either Tank"the motor sounds & feels like its running out of fuel
so i switch to the other tank & have to wait a few minutes till the other tank kicks in & everything is alright..Any ideas on what to check or look at would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks Reddawg

Pickup tube in the fuel tank, a notorious problem.
They can be fixed versus replaced by removing and replacing the broken pickup tube with fuel hose, cut a v notch in the end so it won't seal against the bottom.
-Enjoy
