Dual tanks
It would be way more convenient to fill up both tanks and be able to run 600 miles at a time rather than the 250ish fillup. It comes too fast haha. All the lines and stuff are run but how do i incorproate the rear tank into the system, the switch recognizes it and tells me that it is empty, should i test it by putting a few gallons in and seeing if it will pump the fuel out of the hose. It ends at approximately the fuel filter and is just sitting coiled for now. Can i just "t" in somewhow? Where should that be in the system? Thanks guys,
Josh
There should be a FSV (fuel selector valve) under the drivers side in the frame rail. Both tanks are supposed to go to it with 2 lines each. The selector valve will draw fuel and replace excess from/to the tank selected normally. May be the PO had a problem and just thought he could bypass the valve. The excess fuel must return to the tank selected.
PM me an email addy and I will forward info re fuel lines/FSV and tanks, use subject: fuel tanks/FSV
