SHO mods are something that David Lott at DI started doing, by opening up the oil inlet ports into the poppet valve in the injector. He claimed better performance etc, so i figured why not. I sent them to Casserly because he originally did them, and he said he knew how to do it. The red truck ran a little lopey, but otherwise fine for what the injectors were, but never really was "fast", even in a 6 speed considering you can't speed shift them. The injectors came back and the truck ran like total ***. I was convinced to send them to swamps, and for just a little more than he charged me for the SHO mods, i had swamps fix them, and make them very, very quick. Stock injectors IDLE around 1.5-2.0ms (milliseconds), these "325 sho" that casserly made for me, were not balanced and flowed around 180-210cc in 2.0 ms ( at 4000rpm), and then after swamps did their work, they flowed 310cc in 2.0ms, at 4000rpm as well. The tips were somewhere around 200% over, now they are 400% over, i can almost get a pencil eraser in the holes, lol
all thats left is to put the teflon tape on the fuel fittings, and its ready to go in... i started putting my new hubs on, found out my incident yesterday with my wrist made me incapable of heavy work, so im riding up to see hkusp right now and see if he can pop me back into line
Thanks, i'll let Jason chime in on what happened to my wrist, he knows the technical term however to sum it up i had a guy help me move a concrete parking block (that you put your tires up against), he was on the end, i was straddling the center, he lost his grip, and i was left supporting the weight, and heard a few odd noises, cracks, snaps and a pop in my wrist, and a few bones are out of place..
Anyway, yes i love the headers. I was the only one around here to have them, and now both stroken and "just stroken" (should be "just broken" LOL) have them...
Nice Kris, love the paint. Maybe me and Adam can come down and see it in person, next Sun are you doing anything, are you free that day or whats good for you??? I'll give you a call

What Kris is trying to say is,he is one step away form having a garden hose running fuel to each cylinder,LOL.
looks great. hope it runs as good as it looks. watch that wrist though. dont let it become too bad or you might have problems wrenchen on that truck later on.
