Thanks I called the dealer today and let them know I would be towing it in. I will also check into an extended warranty.

Remember - EGR valve should be covered at NO deductible.

I got home and tried to start it ..... and guess what???? IT STARTED!!!! I called ford and told them I was on my way. I use to work at this dealership 11 years ago and the service manager is a friend of the family so hopefully they get right on it. I'll keep you posted!

Starting to sound like a high pressure oil issue - perhaps STC fitting ......

Mine has an intermittent hot start issue..... No, I haven't pulled the EGR yet.

I called them yesterday and they have not even looked at it. I guess the diesel mech. is really busy. They said hopefully by the end of the week. Who knows!!!

Didn't you bring it to them on the 16th? Geez, they should have at least popped the hood by now!

Well I just got off the phone with ford. I guess the called my old cell number yesterday. Its fixed. I asked what the problem was and he said the computer took a S&$#!!! He told me to come and get it. All work covered under warranty.
