black centercaps

black centercaps

Anybody know where to get the centercaps with the black in the middle instead of the red. Mine have all gone missing and i'm fixin to replace them but wanted the black ones since my truck is black...thanks.

I have the red, but no black. Last I heard, the red was for the 2wd, and the black was for the 4wd. Hang in here for updates on your questions, and my response. I'm sure they will follow.

My red 94 2wd XL had red caps. My black 95 2wd XLT has black. Maybe its based on vehicle color.
I think LMC and NPD offer both.

I got mine here. Scroll down 3 rows. All of the reproduction caps are plastic instead of metal. I have been told that it actually makes them less prone to falling off. Mine are almost 2 years old and look great. It took me forever to find the black ones too. I don't know why everyone carries the red. I would think the black would be more popular. In my opinion the red looks more like it belongs on an 80s truck.

I'm not sure, but was told that it was based on year of vehicle.
Pre 94 should be red. 95 up is black.

I have owned mine since new.
My 93 150 4x4 has red caps and has the rivets around perimeter of wheel.
My 95 Bronco has black caps and no rivets around perimeter of wheel.
