Great info guys thanks a bunch! I really would like to know if my stock turbo can handle the stage II's? And if the is any hp difference in a StageII with 80% noozles or 100% noozles. My pick-up runs well but just want to have a hard pulling but safe set-up for pulling moderate to heavy loads!
For turbo, refer to my personal experience from my quote below. There is NO hp difference between 80% or 100% nozzles. The only difference is the fuel atomization - the 80% nozzles sprays a better pattern and cleans up better, but the 100% allows more fuel in in the same shot.

BUT - it's going to take several more thousands of dollars to get there!
This is the way it's tuned now. If it was de-tuned the van would work fine.

You can always have them tuned lighter if you don't want to go with a bigger turbo later if the "Stage IIs" end up pushing it too hard.
I'm with Joe 100% on this!
The other thing you've got to think about is your trans. You start throwing injectors in there, it's not going to last long. At least do a valve body. At best is a built trans, but that's costly too.
And Mike's correct it that it's not usually the hp that kills engines, it the driver's right foot.
Is there an injector that is in-between the the 50 hp stage I, and the 120 hp stage II? I would like to be in that 80 hp range with injectors. My goal is 375 rwhp if that is possible.

If 375rwhp is you goal, then a stage 2 with light to mild tuning will get you there. You still might need to move to a van turbo though, I'm not sure. I dynoed 373 with my stage 2's before we started tweaking on the chip. It was with mild tunes.
I still vote for stage 1 SS with your existing turbo and a good custom burned chip will get you to 375rwhp. And it'd be the cheapest out of all the options.
BUT - whatever you decide to go with, you should let me know and if I'm available, I'll come down and help you with the install!!
Thanks ryan! I just might take you up on your offer! When you say mild tune are you saying that Jody can tune it a little less agressive if i do deside to go with the stage II's so i don't have to push my turbo so hard?
And ryan if you were to guess what kind of numbers do you think im making now? Compared to what i could make with the injectors and tuner? Just curious!

Correct. Any one of the guys burning chips can set it up for b@lls out max power or with near stock programming.

Rough estimate with your current Edge Evo, I'd say 275-285 hp in the highest setting. With that setup and a custom chip (DP, Cale, TW, Swamps, etc) you'd be in the 310-315 range. So with the right chip and stage 1's with your setup, you'd be in that 60-80 hp increase range.
And that's being conservative. Take for example my dad's 95. Originally we had the Hypermax 330 Max chip in it. With that chip hypermax said that with exhaust, intercooler and stage 1 injectors, you'd be at 330rwhp. When I went to the TS chip a couple years later with the EXACT same setup, it puts it in the 375 range. The only difference is the chip. Hypermax tuning is very conservative and always has been. The tuners of today can also be just as conservative as you, the driver, want them to be. Or they can make the tunes as aggressive as you want them to be.
Well i guess i just have to think about it for a while. Someday far down the road i my do the GT38R but i want to run the one i got for as long as i can and since clay just rebuilt it for me i hope it goes along time. With stage I's and the dp i hope that is a safe yet powerful set-up compared to what i got. Thats why i started this thread. I don't want to go with the stage I sticks if im not going to see much difference.
