Injector question

just a quick question about my injectors on my truck (refer to signature) i was just curious on how many cc my stock injectors flow at 100%full flow??? i'm looking into getting injectors just not sure what stage of single shots i want to get..Its a daily driver soo im guessing i dont want to go past stage 2...is there that much of a difference from stock split shots to stage 1 single's??

Remember, you can't run single shot injectors with the Superchip. There was a big difference with the Stage II for me.

140cc is what the stockers are rated at. Single shots use less oil (a good thing) and require a PCM re-flash or DP tuner finessing to run.

Both Stage I and Stage II flow 160 cc. Stage II have bigger nozzles. Stage I has stock nozzles. These are the injectors I got. click here

I went with reman. I don't see gauges in your sig, if you don't have them, I highly recommend you get them before you install the injectors.

Diesel Manor has good deals on gauge kits. Or if you live in the northwest and prefer a more local shop Boyer Custom Truck is a good place to go. Diesel Manors kits are very complete- wiring harness, connectors, everything needed.

These are the ones I have, the ones Chase said. I would also get the 3 gauge pod so you have a spot for the DP-TUNER, if you go that rout.

I have stage ones and a DP tuner, I think I'm getting better mileage with the tuner and stage ones than I was with the bad injectors if that helps any. If you want bigger than stage ones do it now, you will regret it later. I didn't want to go bigger than stock but I had the opportunity to do it when I found 4 bad injectors. Do it all once so you can get the tuner programed once and not have to spend more if you change your mind later. Yes it will all affect your fuel economy because you will be so happy that it runs so well with the injectors and tuner that you will constantly stepping into the throttle.

Hybrids, and a chip of your choice...

You must have a six speed and thats why no tranny temp.

As was mentioned, the difference between Stage I's and II's is the nozzle size. What this actually does is give you slightly more power on the Stage II injectors, but at a cost of more smoke and higher EGT's. If you plan to do a lot of towing, I would not recommend Stage II's. If you want to go bigger than Stage I's or II's, then get Hybrids. They use the stock nozzle, so they are easy to tune for daily driving, mileage, and towing, but they flow a lot more fuel and can make considerably more power when you want it.
