How is it feasible to find an organization (that can be contacted) that sells PARTS for a 1999 Ford F250 Powerstroke PCM? I''m having no luck finding a irrepairable/damaged "core" from which I could get the male, 104-pin connector? I need just the plug (the reason I asked for a "core", to extract one from......and I have the female/harness plug end already, but the computer male is needed to manufacture a matching part). Most salvage yards sell only good computers ($$!!) and (so far) no remanufacturers throw away cores, but fix them. Searching the US for an accidental "core" is just incredibly time consuming. Another possibility is the OEM co,....and buying a new plug, but I don't know who they are (can't find out). Bad deal, huh (so good luck?)? Any in the know out there?
Thanks for the return, answer or not!
I am a mobile ham radio operator and I am having a special device (plug rf shunt) made for the pcm's connector that will filter out transmitted rf and keep it from messing with the truck operation, etc.
Thanks and good luck (if you think of anything, let me know)!!
