Front and rear must be the same unless you want to run different size tires front and rear.

Well the motor wasn't built for the tuck so it really doesn't have any street manners right now but she will get up and go. 1970 cleveland block .030, speed pro forged pistons zero decked, heads are 2V but with Pontiac valves 2.11int/1.66exh and are ported to flow like the 4Vs, heads milled .040 and chambers polished to get 74cc chambers on all cyls, studs and guide plates and Harland Sharp full roller rockers, cam is Crower 272int/276exh duration lift is .527/.536 and it is way to big for a truck. Motor is fully balanced and I ditched the weiand single plane for an edlebrock performer. Any more questions just ask. Oh and you need the front and rear diff to be as close as possible ratio wise 4:09 and 4:11 will work but any more than that and you will have trouble.
