I am having trouble finding 2 fuses for my 72' F100. The previous owner had put homemade "foil" fuse in and now I am finding out why. I can't find a fuse to fit the 20A fuse for the stop and emergency circuit. I am also having a hard time finding the 15A fuse for the circuit right next to it to the left. It is the same length as the 14A fuse for the turn signal and back up circuit. After spending almost an hour in the parts store and then I am lost. Any help would be great.

The following typed in BLUE are industry numbers, used by ALL autoparts stores.
The numbers typed in RED are Ford part numbers.
1964/72 F Series Truck 15 & 20 AMP glass fuse types:
AGC15 = 1.25" long / A2AZ14526A
AGW15 = .88" long / C4SZ14526B
AGC20 = 1.25" long / AOAZ14526A
AGX20 = 1.00" long / C5AZ14526B
If you cannot find them in an autoparts store, try a Ford Dealer.
Even tho not used for 20 + years, dealers rarely throw stuff away, and prolly have dozens of each.
These originally came in a package of 5, and dealers used to buy between 5 and 10 packages each.
btw: If you had a 1973 or later, I could tell you exactly which ones you need. But...what I typed above is the only way fuses are listed in the truck parts catalog prior to 1973.
Funny you mention 73' or later. I have a fuse block out of a 79' that I was going to swap into my 72'. From what I can see the wiring is pretty close between the two. The 79' look as though it takes the shared circuits of the 72' and seperates them to their own fuses. Plus, most of the fuses look to be of the same size so there would be no more guessing what size fuse.
