Transmission Question
I currently have a 1970 F-100 with a 302 and a C-4. At the moment it is leaking from the front seal. Since I will be taking it out to fix this at some point, I am considering swapping it out with a new B&M C-6. Will this be an easy "out-and-in" kinda sawp? Or will it be more involved? I also recently replaced my torque converter on my transmission, will i be able to use the same TC? Any other helpful advice you have with regard to this would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think the transmissions are the same length so you will have to do some crossmember repositioning. I am pretty sure the converters are not interchangable. Why not just get the beefed up C4 from B&M or TCI?

Well B&M does not carry a C-4 and iv'e known a couple ppl that have had TCI stuff comje apart on them. I am considering a rebuilt C-4, does anyone know a good place for either swapping mine for a rebuilt one, or rebuilding mine? I'm in Tucson btw.
