i need help decoding this id# from my rear axle. am not sure if it is the original axle or not, the truck is turning more and more into a johnny cash special. E7TW-4025-8A
EDIT: these numbers were on the id tag on the dif cover plate: S80 55 88 7KO7
i think i found the info on it, closest match i could get was for S80. which was used from 87-95 in Bronco's and F-150's. it came out to a Ford 8.8", 3.55 gears, and NL. lol NumberDummy if you read this and i am wrong, PLEASE, correct me!!
