I have a C4 tranny on my 351W that I installed in my 1950 F-1. After four years I finally got it on the road and the tranny shifts fine but the shift points are way too high. I took in into a good tranny shop and the owner pointed out that I had a non-adjustable modulator (push-in) but it has a side entry port for the vacuum hose.
We want to change it to a adjustable modulator but the hose enters in the rear. Does anyone know where I could find the bracket that holds this type of modulator in place?
I know nothing about these companies, but I have found if you search their exact names, and they are bad players, you will find those consumer complaint sites with all the horror stories.
check out b&m and hurst website they offer modulator vavles that are fully adjustable and some come with bracket but if your looking for stock with out bracket that is fully adjustable md 23 is the part number from your local advance auto parts
