Oil pan leak. Help
Where in the front and what did you do last time to fix it? I think Dan used a gas tank repair kit on his pan. You can lower the pan and replace the RTV between the pan and the block, but to change the pan the motor needs to come out, so patching is usually worth the effort.
For a no questions asked, fix the oil pan leak, pull the motor, flip it upside down and replace the pan or re-seal if the pan is new.
If the oil had stopped dripping, then off the purchase will work if the old gasket is removed.

I had the same problem. the shop took out the motor put in the pan i bought through work and i put about 4 cans of high heat paint on it to prevent it again, now it leaks oil out of somewhere else i took it back to the shop and now they say its both head gaskets and they charged me to look at their own work. and i think they are full of *****. o yea it was a $1,756 fix
My buddy had the idea to take his truck somewhere other than paying me a decent rate to fix his engine, after he decided to silicone his own oil pan and reseal his oil cooler, then didnt do it right, they pulled the engine out three times trying to get it to stop leaking, once just dropping the pan on the crossmember and putting orange RTV on it. I finally felt bad enough to do it right and flip the engine over, and it's not leaking now
