Question for NumberDummy about Trim
My truck did not have this trim option and i want to get the location right. I'm a little nervous drilling holes after all this work.
I have a "1965 Ford truck body/interior assembly manual" and on the side trim page there is a note at the bottom:
NOTE: See ( C4TB-9927864-5-G-H ) for size and locating dimensions of holes to recieve retainers of body side moldings.
Is this part of a manual or just a sheet? Is it available?
Thanks, Doug

Usually when Ford used instruction sheets, they have a form number on it, then the year it applies to, then numbers for that particular form, then a suffix.
Like this: FPS-651234-A. Form numbers (FPS = Ford Parts/Service) are listed on all of Ford's parts & service literature.
I have the Master Cross Reference Catalog for 1961/72's that lists the ID number, then the actual part number.
There are no numbers of C4TB-9947864-G or C4TB-9947865-H.
Those are 1964 numbers, so they cannot be any sort of instruction sheet that pertains to 1965/66 mouldings.
I have no clue what those numbers represent...except they are related to the bed only, as 99 is the Styleside pickup's body style.
Since carolina-classics.com sells the full set of mouldings, you might give them a call and ask if they have an instruction sheet: 800-598-4211.
These pic are not out of the assembly manual:
