Question

400 using oil

i am posting for a friend that has a 351M/400 built to a 400 and since the motor was built he has been having to add 1 to 3 qrts of oil between oil changes,could the builder by chance have aligned the rings up on the pistons or could it be something else?

Anything is possible. It could be other things though. I'd start with a comp. check.
