91 f-150 codes

Ok so i finally pulled the codes and i got 10 of them and the only one i know about is the EGR one. so if yall smart people could help me out that would be great.

Codes
14-Pip cicut failure
28-loss of IDM, right side
32-EVP voltage below closed limit
33-EGR valve opening not detected
34-EVP voltage above closed limit
63-TP circuit below minimum voltage
73-insufficient TP change during dynamic test
86-shirt solenoid circuit failure
There's two more that i think i counted wrong because there not in the book, when i redo the test i'll see if i can't get the right numbers for these. what i don't get is the EVP it says both above and below limit doesn't make sense to me.

Ok so i double checked and im still getting the weird codes 43, and 27 have no idea what they mean

Thank you
Kyle

i'm not sure but with a 91 i think you should be getting 3 digit codes. if i'm wrong someone will correct me.

I don't think there was a cut-and-dry cut-off for the change from two to three digit codes. '91 is getting into the transition between the two there's a chance it could be either (but not both two and three digit at once).

Here's another website that helps separate the blinks if you think you read them incorrectly: http://www.thorssell.net/hbook/eectest.html . Was the engine running when you ran the test? If not, the 73 would not make sense.

the line is part of the charcoal filter that absorbs gas fumes. and i'm pretty sure that is the coolant temp sensor

Thanks i kinda figured it was for the charcoal filter but wasn't sure. lol i know it's alot of questions but like i said trying to fix some simple stuff. next question would be Would an a/c compressor off of a 1995 bronco fit in my 91 cause mine is frozen to where i can't have the compressor plugged in or else it'll burn up the belt.

Thanks
Kyle

idk if it will but i don't see why it wouldn't as long as they measure the same and look the same but like i said i'm not sure. or if you can live without ac and just roll down the windows a cheap temp fix would be to buy a belt for a none ac truck.

Ok so i finally found a code reader and got for sure codes ones about the EVP voltage below closed limt and the manuel lever posiston sensor out of range. the second one i think is the reason why i can move the shift lever in and out of gear and reverse without pushing on the brake. but the EVP i have no idea about if anyone has opinions. I took care of the one major vaccum leak and it actually got rid of the other codes i had and the truck runs 10x better but i know i still have some small leaks in there.

Thanks
Kyle

That's the canister purge solenoid, it meters fuel vapors from the charcoal canister which is connected to the gas tank/s.

EVP stands for EGR Valve Position sensor and it's located on top of the EGR valve, the computer is basically saying the thing is toast and needs to be changed.

Thanks
Kyle
