Leaking at the seams..

Is the over flow tank a ford item only?

Not sure but if it is parts guy ED would probably be your best bet for the cheapest one.

Yes, never seen it aftermarket.
Only other option would be a salvege yard.

Its been leaking slowly for a while! Better to replace it now, than have it blow out going up to the cabin this summer!! Just wondering if places like NAPA sells them?

A few months ago, a guy at Powerstrokeshop.com told me the over flow tanks are getting hard to find. A lot of broken mounting tabs. Didn't mention seam leaks. Makes sense I guess. Our trucks are getting older, the temps under the hood are high. Ever grab the tools mounted under there after driving around at full operating temp? He said it would be a good idea to find an extra and hold on to it.
