Door weatherstriping

Hi all,
Anyone have any good suggestions on how to remove whats left
after removal of original weatherstrip on doors (`56 F-100).
Hope I made sense with that question.
Thanks.

The 3m adhesive remover works ok but mostly elbow grease. I used a plastic scraper and went at it a little at a time, if you are hoping it will all come up at once let me tell you it wont. Also, this might be a dumn question, but do you have the doors off? i spent a lot of time trying to get all this off while it was still on the truck only to find out I had to take the doors off to put the new stipping on. Once the door was off the last bit of old stripping came off pretty easily. Good luck, and who did you get your new weatherstirpping from?

Thanks for the info on 3M adhesive remover. I`ll get some in the A.M.
I just today ordered the hollow weatherstrip from Mid Fifty.

Good choice on the stipping, I didnt do enough research and found that the LMC sucks only after buying it and installing it. Have fun and remember you will be really happy when it is done.
