Hello guys. I am reviving my old thread. After 5 years I finally broke down and bought new door seals for my 2000 F150 4x4 supercab truck. Before tearing out the old seals I am trying to figure out how they are attached and how the new ones go in. I see the top rear corner fits over the door edge but I can't tell how the rest of it hooks in. Do I need to get any kind of glue or something? The new one has plastic rivets all along it but just thought I'd ask from someone who knows if there are any tricks I need to be aware of before I do it. Thanks.

 

Did you solve the question? Mine also has plastic rivets seeable in some spots but along the door bottom the seal seems barely attached-it lifts away like it ought to have been glued.
