fuel pump problems

I have a 1986 ford f350 crew cab dually that has been running like a champ untill both fuel pumps in both tanks went out at the same time. I replaced both and the relay for this prob. but the pumps come on for a few seconds and then shut off. can anyone help? please i need my work horse back on the road. oh yeah the fuel tank selector works fine i think

The fuel pump circuit gets power initially from the starter relay. After it starts, a oil pressure switch feeds power to the relay. If the relay is not kicking in to keep the fuel pumps running, I would suspect the oil pressure switch.

From his description I assumed he had a 460 with the 4bbl carb, no fuel injection.
