Bought some 05 headlights today...

I bought my 05 headlights today, but I don't remember what else I need to get. I had a thread of all the materials saved somewhere, but not I don't remember where it is. Can someone help me out? I know there is a website somewhere where I can buy the pigtails, but I don't remember it either.

By the way, does anyone know what the deal is with the search function is? It is completely useless.

All you need are the connectors and a tool like a dremel to make room for them. I looked at doing this as well, but my '02s aren't looking that bad. Would like to do the grill though.

I think you need to upgrade to a heavy duty harness to take advantge of the newer style bulbs.

I just 2 weeks installed the 05 Harley lights. I got the the harness and the stainless steel bolt kit from dfuser. Had it in 2 days and install was a breeze. Friend of mine decided not to get the harness and just got the pigtails...my lights are a little brighter then his, but the main benefit if that there is hardly any drain at all on your battery using the relay/harness. Its just the right/better way of doing it if you ask me.
