So i was heading to a 4th of july par today.i had my 2place snowmobile trailer at about 800-1000 lbs and had my sled on there wich is about 550-600 lbs.for those who are going to ask why the hell i was towing my sled in july.the place i go we take them across a pond (water skippin) fun inless you sink.but back on topic i hit a hill and my turbo started surging so i slowed down and let it down shift into 3rd let the converter lock up and got back into it just to play and at about 2800 rpm my ses light came on and it seemed to loose power but im not shure.i went about 3 more miles and it didnt go off,so i pulled over shut the truck and started it back up and the light didnt come on.so what could cause it to come on then go back off when i shut the truck down?can i get a over boost with a stock truck with just a 10k mod? and should i beable to pull the code that it through now that the ses light is off? Also my truck seems like its low on power since this happend, kinda has me worried.thanks and happy 4th.
The code will still be there even if the light is off now. ICP or overboost codes should not cause a low poer issue once the light is back off. Any other symptoms?

Sounds like a good time to get the code pulled.
my buddy had a cheap scanner and it didnt show any thing for codes.so im going to have to wait till tommoro so can get the good scanner on it.there is no other symptoms,no excess smoke, engine isnt making any weird noises, only think i can hear is my leaky up pipes.
so i was able to put a good scanner on it,and i got 3 codes. p1211 is the one that threw the ses light icp pressure above/below desired pressure.the other two are the same ones i always have p0475 and p0113.But while i had the scanner on it i checked the icp pressure with the 10k mod in and at idle it was reading any were from 470psi-490psi.does this sound right?i also did a cylinder contributation test that check out good, and the injecter buzz test and that also checked out good.
Those numbers are fine at idle. I don't know enough about the 10k mod to know if it usually trips an ICP code like a chip will do. I do know it can cause a rougher idle, so don't be alarmed if you notice that.
an icp code is comon to get with a chip?i just want to make shure that my hpop isnt going south.Every one told me that my truck would idle like crap but its not to bad.when i stop some were it will idle high about 700rpm for about 30 sec then go down to were it should be.
Yes, a P1211 is very common with a chip. To check the HPOP you really need to read the pressure at WOT under load. An HPOP going out is not too common though. I wouldn't worry too much unless you start seeing other symptoms.
As always, make sure the engine oil is full and not overdue for a change. Low oil can cause all sorts of issues too.
