First off have any of you heard of or had your bolts that hold your steering box break off. My dad has a 99 F-350 4x4 with a V10 and last year he had his break off going down the road. Luckily he dosen't drive far or fast so he made it home ok.
Next question. I have noticed that I cannot use the big truck pumps with my truck because my filler neck has a "block off" plate similar to the ones on gas engine with the little flapper. Mine openings bigger than the gassers without the flapper but no completely open like the ones on our F-550's at work.
Never heard of the first, but for the second, I think you can pull that thing out. I remember someone doing it, but I don't recall the details. They might have pulled the hose between it & the tank off and cut it out...
CampSpringsJohn - Yeah me too. I stay away from them for that reason. But once in awhile I come acrossed the bigger nozzle on a pump near the gas pumps.
